The no.27 building of the Szent János Hospital, built in 1925, is a protected monument, so the main issue of the project was to keep the existing values of the building while designing a modern professional healthcare environment. Through the renovation, the existing building keeps its main structures, but for the needs of the new Psychiatric Department we had to enlarge the Southern pavillion, add a new extension below the inner courtyard, and partially build in the two roof terrasses.
