The free-standing volume of the new kindergarden and day-care centre is formed by three different functional units, connected to each other around a central courtyard and outdoor community space. This architecture, open both towards inside and outside, generates a dynamic space structure rich in connections and space qualities while keeping its unity. Natural building materials and the maximum use of natural light was also a key design feature.
