Design of a new smart warehouse of an Industrial and Logistics Centre that will store goods for online shipping, in the industrial zone of Vác, North of Budapest. The warehouse technology in the building will be fully robotised, with human labour used only in the office and sorting area. The optimal energy use of the building was designed using dynamic simulation, modelling the entire mechanical and electrical system of the warehouse. The building is composed of three functional units: the multi-storey flat-roofed volume of the high warehouse, two large working halls and a separate wing for offices and community spaces. The design of the building puts the emphasis on functionality, with the use of high-quality neutral materials and simple forms.
